I recently completed a master of arts degree in journalism at Western University, and a HBA in journalism from the University of Toronto and Centennial College–all within five years! But now I’m ready to move on from the academic world and tackle the sleepless but exciting business that is media.

I enjoy pursuing human interest stories that make an impact, and I tend to cover offbeat topics such as autism, agriculture, homelessness, and my latest obsession–which isn’t so offbeat–food! While pursuing stories I use many forms of social media such as: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, on a daily basis for research and networking.

Did I mention radio is my speciality? I interned at 680News, 570News, Kiss92.5FM, and volunteered to organize panels for the Canadian Association of Journalists. You can find my radio/audio documentary portfolio on my Soundcloud account. 

If I’m not writing on this website, I’m probably out riding my horses, listening to classic rock music, or looking for a neat recipe to cook/bake.
